GROUNDED MEDITATION FOR CREATIVITY
This 5 minute grounding meditation helps you firmly connect with your self and creativity. You can practice this meditation any time you feel the need.
Head outside, to your yard, the park, etc and remove your shoes. You should walk barefoot on the ground, whether it is grass, sand or dirt. Connect to the earth. In modern society, we are becoming more wired with very short attention spans and require constant stimulation. At times your creativity needs you to be still, centred and focused, this practice will help you achieve this.

1. Stand with your feet together, start by bringing your awareness to your feet. Close your eyes. Breathe in and release. Repeat for a few moments until you are completely relaxed.
2. With your eyes closed, scan your body, starting with your toes, move over your feet, up your legs, torso, back, arms, neck and head all the while breathing in and releasing each part of your body as you go.
3. Feel your energy shift and relax as you connect with the earth. Remain breathing for a few more moments with your eyes closed.
4. When you are ready, open your eyes and go on with your day in the knowledge that you are grounded and connected to mother earth, and the centre of your creativity.
