The Olive Tree Virtual Market

Hello Creative QB’s,

I am so excited to be part of the Virtual Olive Tree Market on October 24, 2020 alongside a collective of amazing creatives. 

Newcastle is home to a talented community of some of the finest artists and designers in Australia.

Way back in the dark ages, I left Newcastle for the bright lights and creative jobs of Sydney town. Back then creative jobs in Newcastle were few and far between. 

My guess is more than half of our design graduating year at the Uni of Newcastle left town.

It could not be more different now. Creative art and design is thriving in Newcastle and is certainly one of the reasons I returned home three years ago. 

I have spent the last three years getting to know my town and the region again – with a completely new set of eyes. I have loved every opportunity, meet so many incredible and generous people, and am finding my way and place in this wonderful community.

Which is why I am so excited to be part of the Olive Tree Markets. Last year you might have caught Cate and Belle (my sisters) and me at the Maitland Olive Tree Markets. Since Covid, Justine Gaudry, the founder of the markets has worked so hard to re-invent a new market and it’s all happening online.

This Saturday, 24th Of October 2020 from 9.00am till 9.00pm you can shop local and support designers and artists.

1. A special code will be made available to you with special offers, discounts and promotions on the day. You will need to grab the unique link from the Facebook Olive Tree Event page from 9.00am.
